Mist Set

Hi, Does anyone know how to stop tear marks forming on a powered face?
I did a friends wedding make-up and i used foundation and set it with translucent powder. She started crying during the application as the nerves kicked in and there was two tear marks on her face.So does anyone know of a powder that maybe can resist this or a good setting mist? Thanks
1. you need to start off with a good moisturizer that suits her skintype the best.
2. use a base/ makeup primer, this will help keep the makeup in place. sephora has a good one and smashbox’s photofinish primer is awesome!!! but if you don’t want to fork out the cash (although well worth it) try something like monistat’s anti-chafing cream…i know it sounds weird, but it has the same key ingrediants found in mac’s matte gel and smashbox’s primer.
3. i suggest mixing your foundation with an artifical light. (mac’s lightful line is awesome! and their strobe cream is great too) not only does it soften fine lines and imperfections, but it gives a nice, healhty, soft glow. perfect for occasions such as this one.
4. set with powder.
—–for foundation/powder i HIGHLY reccomend using MAC. it was originally made for theatrical/stage makeup…so it’s quite resistant to any moisture/water.—-
5. i usually use mac’s fix+ to set my powder, but if you can find it, even online, try “model in a bottle” i heard this is the best stuff out there and really keeps your makeup where it belongs! on your face!
hmmm also keep in mind.. if your friend has normal-dry skin you might look into something that’s wax/oil based, this will not leave any trace of tear marks. creame to powder may work well too… but again, work with the skintype and highly suggest mac.
